today i went for "tryouts" at stingrays which were actually just time trials xD it was extremely fun, nothing to be nervous of, which i was at the beginning!! i genuinely had a good time and i was so glad to be back, to see so many familiar faces of dear friends :) i'd already forgotten how wonderful it was to be in a team. ahh, i love stingrays. and i missed jamie so muchh :)
cis swim team tryouts tomorrow. hahaha. feels so good to be swimming again!!!!
<3
its kinda funny, because when we went to san fran city, we actually wanted to take the cable car and go sightseeing, but it was way way way too cold and i was like freezing so we went shopping instead. and that wasted 3 hours :) i bought this super cute reddish orange american eagle hoodie, i love the color even if it is a little bit orange. i think it looks really nice :D and while we were waiting in line for the cable car we bought a stick of cherro or however you spell it, which is surprisingly good. sugar and CINNAMON hehehehehehe:)

9:03 PM
hey guys :)
today was awesome, even though my feet hurt like hell after a day of walking in super uncomfortable heels :S bought two new pairs of shoes, and a dress/jacket kind of thingy from roxy, pretty cool xD
watched up in 3d!
:))
loveeeeed that because of more reasons than just the movie.
so let's go back to my tripppp ;P
6. moab
ooh we went whitewater rafting here, instead of going to canyonlands national park. my sis and i were really tired of the same scenes, so my mom decided to give us a break. :D my cousins couldn't go cuz my uncle didn't let them, so they had to go there instead xD it wasn't really rafting because most of the time we were just floating. but it was a huge boat, and after lunch i got to kayak all the way till the ending point. :) we made new friends, joe and julie duty. they're pretty cool, especially joe, he's like this professional photography guy. if the boat tipped, he'd save the camera first before his wife xDD there were a few fast parts, but not as much as the upper part. i think we did the middle part; we had the longest fast part but not many others. but the scenery was beautiful, and it looked so much more breathtaking from the bottom of the canyon, because that way you can see the full size of it.
7. arches national park
we went here after rafting, which was around 7, 8 ish, after dinner time. sunset <3
absolutely stunning, it took my breath away. you almost always get the best pictures at sunset or sunrise, all the shadows, and the lights and the different way you see things because of those things. i just can't describe it, there's just something so extraordinary and other worldly about it :) we didn't see much arches, just a few because it was pretty late and we didn't want to drive in the dark so we didn't go to the furthest sight. there actually wasn't any point in going there since one of the biggest arches collapsed like last year or something, which is a shame. strange, how these things happen.
8. gooseneck
this was just a stop-by too. was kinda scary, looking over from the edge to down below. the shape is actually pretty clear, though my grandmother said it looked more like a snake neck than a gooseneck. :P weird. hahaha its so funny, i used all the things i learned in geo on the trip, because there's so many things that you can use the knowledge on xDD
9. monument valley
ah i remember this because we stayed in my mom's dream house :) you can only sorta see the canyon from the windows, but it was good enough. pretty big, which is what i like :D the other reason why i remember this very clearly is because i woke up at like 6 in the morning to take a picture of the sunrise with my mother, and then went straight back to sleep!! hahahahaha. i think i was like half asleep, but i still knew what i was doing. i fell back to sleep but my mother couldn't, so she stayed awake until 8 xD
10. lake powell
WE EACH GOT TO DRIVE A SPEEDBOAT. IT WAS SO COOL :D but they don't call it speedboats, they call it something like a power boat or something. so awesome. i even saw people wake boarding on the back of the boat, and i really wanted to go :( lol, we just spent 2 hours driving around probably half of the lake.
but it was so worth it :D
11. grand canyon
don't have anything to say about this because i didn't even get off the car to see it xD super boring, super hot outside and i was so tired. i didn't even think there was anything good about it, let alone why its such a famous landmark in america :S arches national park was so much better.
12. zion national park - horseback riding
i think this is the place where i watched like 2 hours of dr. phil cuz there was nothing else to watch on tv and my sis and i didn't feel like hiking to see stuff. my mom, uncle and grandma went instead. dr. phil is weird. too serious, creeped me out a little xD we also went horseback riding here, my butt hurt so much after like 15 minutes lol.
13. las vegas
VENETIAN <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3
CHRIS BROWNNN :)
lalalala this place was super cool, daniel almost got lost in the casino i had to drag him all the way to the elevators. my sis and my mom went to see the phantom of the opera while i stayed in the hotel room and "baby sat" my cousins. how fun. we watched family guy, so inappropriate for a 6 year old xD
14. los angeles
ah hollywood :) universal studios. the tour was pretty cool, other than that it held no interest for me. i don't really enjoy amusement parks as much as other people seem to :( oh well. the beach was gorgeous, too bad it was FREEZING. and i wore shorts xD
i just sat in the car.
heh.
and then we went back to san fran :)
fun ♥

she's a natural disaster
hello.
it's been 2 months hasn't it.
you'd never ever believe how much can happen in 2 months.
dreams you've already left behind resurface when you least expect them to, and dreams you never knew you had, come true.
what shall i talk about first? hmm. summer's a good topic :)
i went to the lovely USA for the first month, and spent 30 days of an american lifestyle. i admit, besides the fact that the weather was super strange, it was actually better than i expected. the scenery was absolutely breathtaking, i can't even use words to describe it. whitewater rafting and canoeing was fun, and definitely more exciting than the last time we did those activities.
the road trip that we took to see scenery was long. very very very long. but it was pretty amazing, all the pictures i took, the things i saw and the things i experienced. it lasted about 11 days long and in truth, even though i loved seeing those beautiful natural stuff, i was happy to take a break from it when we went to universal studios in LA. :) makes you feel pretty high to just be there, but actually hollywood isn't really anything. its just a sign. and besides, you don't really get to see any famous people. that sucked xD
iteinery for our road trip (in order):
1. san fran
sat for around 9 hours on the squishy car with daniel, from san fran all the way to las vegas. ahh torture. lol, it wasn't really that bad. but he was very very annoying, and whiny. ugh. but i guess his cuteness makes everything better, somehow. xD
2. las vegas
the first time in las vegas we stayed in the hotel trump, which was super cool. weird name, but the hotel room was so awesome. there were even tv's in the bathroom!! and the bathroom was huuuge. the hotel reminded me a little of marriot, the outside. in the morning, before we left for bryce canyon we even went swimming in the pool :) i don't really think the pool is put to much use normally, because people usually just sunbathe. no one ever swims. kinda funny really. xD
3. bryce canyon
first canyon that we visited on the road trip, and the first canyon that i ever saw. the rocks looked like guards in a huge castle, all tall and mighty and BIG. the bad thing about that day was the temperature was really low and it was kinda cold. it was also really late and we didn't have time to walk down, to look at the canyon from another side, which was from the bottom. personally, i think this canyon wasn't really that interesting, but it was definitely better than the grand canyon.
4. escalante
hmm let me remember what this was all about. i think it was just a passing point, but we didn't actually find it. there were no signs, but there were like writing on the rocks that said escalante, though we weren't really sure if we were at the right place. it was supposed to look like stairs and have waterfalls and stuff but i didn't see anything unique about it.
5. capitol reef national park
ah. this part i remember, it was super tiring and very long. but it was pretty cool, because we got lost. :D we thought we were going the right direction, but when we stopped and asked the people that were in front of us, they said you can only go on if you have a four wheel drive, which we didn't. which meant we were kinda lost. but then we found this tiny, beautiful valley :) my sister and i tried to climb a tree trunk that had fallen down, but we couldn't even get half way xD
ah i don't feel like writing anymore. i'll leave the rest of my journey till tomorrow :)
